Character's Goals Arya plans on mastering the arts of the Faceless men and killing Joffrey.
Character History thus far
Arya grew up for the most part in Winterfell and enjoyed a life of slight luxury as a Lady of Winterfell. Her heart longed to be in the wild and she had an extremely close bond with her half-brother Jon Snow. The Stark family adopted a pack of baby dire wolves. She was very close to hers.
After King Robert came to Winterfell she followed her father and her sister Sansa to Kings Landing. Her father served as the King’s hand while Sansa prepped to be a lady and marry Prince Joffrey. It was during this time that Arya learned to hate. Joffrey and Arya had a slight show down and Aryas dire wolf from the North attacked him in her defense. She sent her beloved wolf off in order to protect her from Joffrey’s rage. Her father arranged for her to train to fight with a famous sword master Syrio who she spent the rest of her happy days in King’s Landing with. Through a turn of events her perfect world of sword play and was shattered after her father was imprisoned. Syrio died to buy her time and defend her. She lived on the streets and begged for food until the moment she wandered to the city square just in time to see her father in his last moments of life.
Yoren of the Nights Watch had been in town looking for new recruits and he took her with him as a recruit for the Nights Watch. It was from that moment on that her hatred began to seethe and her survival skills kicked in. Yoren had no intentions of making Arya a man of the Nights Watch and he wasn’t about to bring her back to the Wall where a bunch of lonely men served out their days protecting the wall. He has made a promise to her father long ago to always protect the Stark House family. Ned had been kind enough to give him a list of unwanted men and criminals to join the brotherhood and he intended on returning the favor by making sure Arya got home to Winterfell to meet up with Robb. The Kings Guard had recently heard of a bastard son that was traveling with the Nights Watch. He knew they would be coming and come they did. Arya had to downplay her features and dressed as close to a boy as she could. She wore baggy clothes and always had Needle within reach. She was obviously a girl but no one said a word to her. They knew Yoren had a special attachment to her and to make a move would be to die. Only Yoren knew who she was and everyone else simply thought she was a peasant sold by her family into the Nights Watch. Yoren watched over her until his last breath.
Arya was supposed to be dropped off at Winterfell while Yoren was on his way to the wall. Unfortunately they never made it to the wall or Winterfell. The Kings Guard attacked the group and Yoren died trying to protect her identity. He gave a valiant fight but it was in vain. The Kingsguard captured Arya and her friends and took them into the Lion’s den. She saved the lives of the prisoners that they had been transporting. One of those men was Jaqen H’ghar and he would prove to be a powerful ally in Arya’s adventure.
Jaqen joined the enemies guard much to Arya’s distaste but he offered her three kills for the three lives that she had saved in the chaos. She requested three lives and he killed them all with ease and mystery. She worked as a servant girl serving wine and attending to Tywin’s officials while they discussed attack plans against her brother. She changed her name to Nymeria or Nan in order to hide her identity from Tywin.
She grew tired of waiting within the walls and longed for escape. A drunken guard had stumbled against the cooking fires and had fallen down in a pile of hay. The smell of burning flesh filled the keep as a fire broke out within the walls that consumed many lives and caused enough chaos for Arya to sneak through the cracks of the building. She wasn’t sure what happened to Gendry or Hot Pie but she could only hope that she would run into them again. While being held as a servant girl she had the chance to gather strategic information about the Lion’s plan of attack. She knew the only place she would be able to go would be North. She would find Robb and help him destroy the Lannisters while appeasing her revenge. She stopped one last time once she was a safe distance from the burning keep. Her heart sank at the thought of Gendry being hurt. She knew he was a cunning bull and must have escaped. She would seek him out if it was the last thing she did but every ounce of her being told her to run while she could. She shook her sadness off and pulled her cloak over her head after disappearing into the woods.
Character Personality
Arya is a strong willed and intelligent girl. She has a high honor code and loves her family. Arya has never fit into the Lady title and has always let her family know that she does not want that life. She is determined and never backs down from a fight. She adjusts her attire and personality to her surroundings and has a huge sense of survival. She has often been compared to a cat with her intelligence and her warg abilities.
She fights with her sister often but since Sansa and Arya have been separated she misses her. Arya would never be the type to admit defeat. She plans on avenging her father and saving Sansa from Joffery at some point. She has a very strong fondness for Jon Snow because he is also an outcast in the family and the only one who has ever truly understood her. Arya will always support her family and she will fight from the shadows until one by one the enemies of the Stark House have paid.
She spends a lot of time trying to read on Alchemy and different fighting forms. Ever since her capture from the Knights Guard and her encounter with the Faceless Man she has been obsessed with bettering her fighting skills so that she might be able to defend herself when the time comes.
Arya is headstrong and determined. She is aware of her beauty and will use it to her advantage if she needs to. She refuses to play the Game of Thrones, but she will play the Game of Revenge. She does not long for a crown or a throne, but for the ability to protect her homeland and make her own destiny.

Sample Roleplay (At least 200 words please)
The snow crunched beneath her feet as she weaved through the heavy woodlands of the North. These were her woods and she had known each tree since she was born. The young woman of marrying age let out a loud sigh of frustration and watched her lips part heat between the rosy hue. It had been too long since she had been home and the unforgiving winds of the North knew it. The grey iris of her eyes focused on the heavy moon that hung low in the night sky beckoning her to continue on or die in the forsaken frozen lands she was born to. Arya was not a quitter and the thought of giving up only drove her further to the verge of insanity.
The ravens watched her in the trees as she struggled through the snow banks begging the old Gods to help her reach her brother in Winterfell. So much had changed since she had last seen him and her heart ached to be next to someone she knew. She had always wanted adventure but the cost she had paid was never worth it. She closed her eyes for a moment and braced herself against an ancient oak while she caught her breath. The warmth of her breath melted into the cold winds in a steam of memory as her mind wandered. The ancient legends said that some men went mad in the woods between Kings Landing and Winterfell. She smirked at the thought and reminded herself that she wasn’t a man nor did her appearance reflect of one anymore.
In the last year she had to hide her face in more rags than usual and stuff the stomach part of her tunic with feathers in order to look less womanly. To be a woman on the run was a dangerous situation to begin with but to be one that flaunted the beauty that she had become would be a death wish. Her gloved and agile fingers gently wrapped around the hilt of needle to make sure that it was still with her. Her bastard brother Jon Snow had given it to her in encouragement to find her own path. She would never be Sansa nor did she want to. She would fight for her freedom and find her way and in the process she would save her sister from the son of a bitch who had killed her father. A small frozen tear brought her back to reality. She was surprised by the sudden realization that she could still cry.
The list of those to die seemed to grow every day… it was good to know she still had some warmth in her heart somewhere. The snow built up around her as she pushed her way through. She had to reach Robb and help him fight the Lannisters. He would listen to her and he would allow her to take her rightful place next to him in the battle. She would bow to no man and would kill her own brother should he try to marry her off for alliance purposes. She would decide where and to whom she belonged, but for now her honor and seething hatred drove her North.
