Desired Character Mya Stone
Character Gender Female
Character House Mya is a bastard daughter of Robert Baratheon, but she belongs to no house.
Character Alignment Currently unaligned. See history below.
Character Appearance:
Character's Goals Mya, while a woman, wishes to pledge her sword and service to an honorable house, although she is not like to ever see THAT dream come true. Mostly because, she has come to discover, there ARE very few houses with honor left in Westeros. She has convinced herself though, that she must travel and see and learn as much as she can about the Seven Kingdoms. If you are destined to live as a bastard, you might as well get to know the world that so despises you.
Character History thus far Mya served as a guide on the treacherous rocky climb from the Vale to the Eyrie, until she turned 15, earning her the surname "Stone". She is somewhat openly known to be the bastard daughter of Robert Baratheon from the time he was fostered as young man by Lord Jon Arryn, although she was not acknowledged by her father. Mya has all of the distinct Baratheon features: Dark eyes and thick, wild black hair, with a body that was strong and blessed with endurance. She has vague memories of her father, as a big strong man tossing her in the air and catching her. She has no recollection of her mother, but she does know that her mother left her to be raised by serving girls, and kitchen wenches. She is seventeen years old now, and has since left the Eyrie and made her way to The North. Mya plans to find an honorable house to pledge her service to, but for now she is what some might call a wanderer, or as Mya herfelf would call it, "Learning to be a Ranger". Mya learned to ride early on as a child, and while her father was famous for his mighty warhammer, Mya is incredibly skilled with a bow. Her father had left her with no lands, titles, or name. But he did leave her something that was special. A dragon bone bow. There were only a handful in the Seven Kingdoms, left over from the days of Old Valyria. It is known that a dragon bone bow is more flexible and can out range any other bow with perfect precision. Mya kept it well hidden, for the most part. If anyone should recognize it, it would be forth a fortune in gold.
Had she been born a man, she could have become a renowned archer for some great house. To pay for her travels across the kingdoms, Mya works odd jobs in kitchens, or occasionally a desperate blacksmith will hire her to make and shoe horses, all of which she learned to do while working at the Eyrie.
Character Personality
+Courageous
In a way, she is rather fearless… or stupid. Her actions are sometimes done without thinking through entirely, or not caring how the consequences would affect herself. Her friends, in her eyes, are more valuable than her own safety. She has the heart of a lion and the passion of a stag, the irony of which is not lost on her.
+Loyal
Her trust is a difficult thing to earn, but once someone has it, it is theirs for the rest of time. She believes that second chances should be given, but they must be earned. If someone would dare to betray her trust, she would find it hard to forgive, but not impossible if they were sincere. Loyalty is one of her strongest traits because she puts her heart and faith into those that matter most to her and would never turn her back on them. Quite literally, she would give her life for someone she loved.

"I’m aware that I’m really offensive at times. It’s kind of who I am. I mean, I know that it might not be the best idea to tell Lords and Ladies to ‘just stop friggiing procreating’ (even if they did have 13 children, for gods sake, thirteen! I mean, you don’t even have to name them if you have that many kids. You name them ‘thing one, two, three, four…’ so on and so forth, maybe knit them a nice jumper or something so that you can tell them apart). It’s part of what makes me… me. I think after I speak, and pretty often not even then. I don’t like listening to sense, because that holds you back. I’m very much a person who loves the here and now. I’m unlike most in the fact that I’m not tied to the past or staring off into the future, I’m in the present, and I make the most of it.
-Headstrong
"All right, so I’ve got a few strong opinions. It’s just… a trait of mine that people have to get used to. I’m not a quiet person. I’m a get-on-the-tables-and-dance person. I’m a scream when you’re mad, throw things, make a protest just to show everyone you’re living, and you’re there, and you care kind of person. I don’t like to be ignored, I just can’t do it. You can love me or hate me-- hate me if you want, it’s quite amusing-- but don’t ignore me. I hate that.

Sample Roleplay
Severus was glad of his warm, thick robes as he walked down the unseasonably cool London street. A course sack was slung over his shoulder, full of his latest acquisitions for the apothecary. He'd have apparated if not for the delicate nature of some of these items.
He suppressed a glad sigh as he stepped into the charm-heated relief that was the Leaky Cauldron.
Despite the comfortably warm temperature, the atmosphere of the pub was tense. Severus felt untrusting eyes following him as he quickly crossed the bar room floor. He sent a polite nod the way of Tom, then slipped out the back door and made his way into cooler air of Diagon Alley. It was, he noted, not as cold as the wind-blown Muggle street he had just left; yet the air here, as it had been in the Cauldron, was filled with a chill that had nothing to do with temperature.
The Alley was far from empty. People still needed to shop, and Diagon Alley was the place to go. But the usual summer happiness seemed somewhat muted. People still laughed and talked as they traversed the Alley; but wariness lurked in the eyes of many, and wands were close at hand.
The apothecary wasn't too far down the street. It was a path he had walked many times, and he crossed the cobbles swiftly. He wasn't nervous, of course, he would have been quick to assure anyone that might ask. He was young, talented, and had made friends with the right people in the right places. But his footsteps were still faster than they had been as a Hogwarts student.
He made his way towards the counter, swinging the sack down from his shoulder as he walked. It was a good haul, and his mind was racing ahead to the haggling that would soon begin over prices.
Then he looked up. Her back was to him as she stood at the counter, but Severus could recognise that vibrant, beautiful red hair anywhere.
