This thread is for you, the members, to help shape the site how you want for it to be shaped - though more specifically, in the area of a soon to be implemented system, Quests.
We've been building up several ideas inside the Staff Section, but we want your ideas and suggestions to play a big part here. So what I'm going to do is explain how Quests work and post an example of the way Quests will be set up on this forum, and then I want you to use the template (which will be posted at the very bottom of this post) to make some of your own Quest ideas, post them in this thread. If they're good enough they'll be used on the site!

Quests
Characters have the opportunity to take up Quests, which span across the lands of Westeros and beyond, bringing glory, riches, honour as well as potentially rare and valuable items! To complete a Quest you must follow/meet all of the special requirements listed, as well as roughly following the pre-set story for it. The Quests vary in difficulty and Reward; the higher the difficulty then the more we expect of you when judging it, but with a high difficulty also comes a high reward.
The Quests come in three main Difficulties (Medium, Hard & Very Hard) and currently there is only one type of Quest that you can undertake:
Normal Quests - These are the most standard type of Quest available on the site. They will usually involve a standard story to follow, where certain requirements must be met during the Quest to successfully complete it. A Quests rewards will vary depending on it's specified difficulty and resulting bonus, if earned.
Each Quest has 'Objectives' that must be met for completion, and if a Quest involves you travelling to several locations (i.e.: from The Crownlands to The Cold North) then you must split the Quest into multiple threads (one in each area - Crownlands, Riverlands & the North; to represent the journey). If the locations you need to travel to fall under the same realm, then a singular thread will suffice.
Example:
Laugum of House Cressey stands before you. “It will not be long before my father passes from this world, and I shall become the new Lord of House Cressey." he begins. "However, as he approaches death, he has started to speak of the regrets he carries from things left undone, or mistakes in his past." An loud sigh resonates from his lips. "One such mistake was the forging of a valyrian steel sword he called ‘the Peacekeeper’. Though admirably named and made, it was said that the blade was forged with magic, in the hopes that the enchantment would inspire even the weakest willed soldier to fight with unrivaled fervour! There was no real enchantment, but the thought of there being one did exactly as intended...those dishonorable men who wielded the sword became enthralled to its power. For a time, it was held by the Commander of our house, but the blade was lost when he was killed."
Laugum slowly begins to pace back and forth. "Recently, we have learned that the Peacekeeper resurfaced in the hands of Alekyne Florent, of House Florent. The weapon is to be gifted to the winner of a tournament held one week from today. You must arrive within nine days time and take part in that tournament, hero, and bring the sword back to me so that I may reforge the blade and stem its lust for blood. Should any other touch the sword, I fear the story of the sword will corrupt them and the terror of that blade will be unleashed once more.”
Characters Eligible: Any good or lawful alignment.
Quest Difficulty: Medium.
Group Required? No.
Starting Location: The Crownlands.
End Destination: The Crownlands.
Employer: Laugum of House Cressey.
Request Objectives:
- XP
- Money
