House Domhnail
House Stark
Protect his liege lord Robb Stark. Achieve a future for his future children. Gain renown for himself.
Born to his father Tristan Domhnail and Ann Domhnail. One of the bannermen to Lord Stark. He was born A few years before Roberts Rebellion. He trained hard and ably, dreaming of inherting Wolfspaw. His fathers Valyrian steel Bastard sword. He was sent to be fostered at House Stark for a brief time where he sturck up an immediate friendship with Robb Stark and Jon Snow. Soon after the Greyjoy rebellion he had taken an immediate dislike to Theon Greyjoy. Still fast friends with each, he slowly warmed to Theon who was about the same. He was called away back to Greenhill, seat of House Domhnail to witness the birth of his brother and sister Erik and Cara.
He bloodied his sword at the age of sixteen. He bloodied his swords against Bandits. His father sent fifty horsemen with him and although Iain escaped relatively unscatched he was mentally troubled for the next few months. He continued to uphold the peace of his fathers lands and he was soon included in his councils and the such.
Just before the battle of the Whispering Wood. His father jioned the ancient order of the Nights Watch and Iain was given Wolfspaw. During the battle, he slashed left and right with wolfspaw, slaying many. When Robb Starks horse was killed. Iain pushed his horse in front of his lord as an arrow pierced his horses belly. As his horse fell, Iain briefly crossed swords with Jaime Lannister before the battle pulled them apart.
When Robb was proclaimed King In The North. Iain was one of the first along the Greatjon to proclaim him a king. He is currently residing with Robb, Serving as one of his Twenty Guards. Along with a handful he is one of the original ones who survived the battle.
Iain is a calm rational person. But when he is provoked to anger. He is a berserker fighter. Anything regarding insults to his family will drive him mad. Otherwise he is a a loyal person and will jump to defend his friends and fight his enemys if the chance provides. Best not get on his bad side.

The cold winds were rising. Iain’s father had spoken the words to him just as he left Green Hill. He had come with 2,000 men. 1,500 were horse, while another five hundred were knights and along the way, free riders and sell swords and camp followers.
Iain whistled ahead from the head of the column as his Elkhound Cancus bounded ahead too far. Occasionally running back to join Iain ahead of the Column. Iain shivered and wrapped himself in his fur cloak as they made a round of Riverun with one-hundred men. They were all fearful of Lannisters attacking once they left Riverun and Robb had entrusted various men with keeping the peace. However bad it could get.
As they neared a small forest of oaks. They all heard the distinctive sounds of a large force moving through the forest. Cancus was stopped at the head of the column and Iain looked back at the men. He nodded silently. Twenty five men went to the left, another to the right where they were shielded from the trees. The rest of the remaining fifty men lowered lances and unsheated swords. The familiar rasp of steel on leather sent a shiver down Iain’s spine and he unloosened Wolfspaw. The Valyrian Steel Hand-and-a-half sword.
Suddenly Cancus bounded forwards and a herd of deer bounded from the trees. The sight made ethe men and Iain himself jump and they all laughed at how nervous they were. Their laughing stopped abruptly as an arrow whistled out of the forest and missed Iain’s face by a foot and struck the man behind him. They soon heard the sounds of battle reaching them.
“Twenty five of you, follow Cedric and go to the flank, the rest follow me.” Iain bellowed out the commands and they hurried to obey him.
Iain galloped into the tree line to see the full view of carnage. Horses were screaming and men were screaming. Iain lowered Wolfspaw as they galloped in and a man in Lannister house armor made the mistake of rallying a few men and galloped at them in return. Their obvious captain raised his sword arm to slice down, but Wolfspaw cleaved through it as easily as a knife through melted butter. The man screamed in pain as the stump of his arm pumped blood, but it soon was cut off as they rest of them made do with him.
Iain fought hard with all of them and killed a few. Nearing the end of the battle, they were joined by Cedric and his men and they managed to beat them into submission. Sadly, there was no Lannister banner men or higher lording. They were simple Cavalry and Sellswords and as Iain made his report to the Blackfish who was his commander for the time he was scouting for Robb, the news obviously displeased him. He had ordered that there be double night and day watches with several ranging in the riverlands. Northern Lords and Riverland Lords joined forces briefly to stem the flow of men. Yet they continued to come.
