Winter is Returning

Hear my words and bear witness to my vow. Night gathers, and now my watch returns. It shall not end until my death. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honour to Winter is Coming, for this night and all the nights to come.

That’s right; the game of thrones is never truly done. After a hiatus of some time, the site has steadily begun to pick up some interest behind the scenes. People are wishing to write as their beloved characters again, and who can blame them? With a new season of the exceptional show about to begin this month, what better time to reignite our loves for the series and the genre than by picking up our old characters (or perhaps some new ones instead) and continuing where we left off?

It is for this reason that I have been (and still are) updating the site and fixing some of the issues that it had when it temporarily closed down. It’s being reworked, refitted and modified in some extreme ways, all of which will be listed in the Update area upon completion. Basically, Winter is Coming will be making a comeback, hopefully an active and successful one where everyone can just enjoy themselves and write. I know I’ve missed it and hopefully you all have as well.

I’ll be sending out a mass email to all of our old members, and passing on a link to those old members who never made it over to this forum, to see who’s interested and see if we can spark some life back into this old girl of a site. So I hope to see you all back very soon!
